How the image is transferred to stone

First the image is engraved on the stone with a diamond tool. Then the engraving is painted with a special pigment.

For façade and interior

These icons withstand the weather: they are placed on church façades, gates and bell towers, and indoors. Size and shape — round, rectangular or arched — are made for a particular place, including an existing niche in a wall.

Fixing and framing

Fixing holes are provided in the icon in advance. On request, the icon is set in a carved frame.

Frequently asked questions

How do I order an icon on stone?

Send photos of the space, measurements, drawings (if you have them), reference images and a short description of what is needed. We then clarify the brief and prepare drawings.

Do you make drawings before production?

Yes. The design is worked out on paper first: elevation, section, profile. Production starts after the drawing is approved.

Do you carry out installation?

Yes. The work includes design, production in the workshop and installation in the church. Projects outside Ukraine are discussed individually.

Where is the workshop and how do I get in touch?
